Travel tips for travellers to KL


  • If you are planning a visit to Malaysia in November or December, be sure to book early. School holidays in Malaysia and Singapore which begins in mid November 2007 is the peak season. This holiday stretches till the end of the year.
  • Book your air flights early. Book your flights by comparing with offers by all other Asian Airlines and also from budget airlines operating in Malaysia and Singapore (see transport in Malaysia)

KL Tower International BASE Jump Merdeka Circuit 2007. – held in conjunction with  Malaysia’s 50th Anniversary of Independence or Merdeka. This circuit will take place at 5 building events, the tallest buildings in the states of Sarawak, Sabah, Alor Setar, Penang and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. It will start on 7th August and will conclude on 26th August 2007. There are nine days scheduled for jumping with up to 8 hours of jumping per day. Jump heights for buildings range from 280 feet to 980 feet.
