Holidays Season in Malaysia

Travel tips for travellers to KL

  • If you are planning a visit to Malaysia in November or December, be sure to book early. School holidays in Malaysia and Singapore which begins in mid November 2007 is the peak season. This holiday stretches till the end of the year.
  • Book your air flights early. Book your flights by comparing with offers by all other Asian Airlines and also from budget airlines operating in Malaysia and Singapore (see transport in Malaysia)
  • Search and compare hotel rates before booking. Online rates are lowest when you book early and most online booking must be at least 7 days before you check-in. (Free tool to search online rate from multiple sites is available at HotelsCombined.com )
  • Lookout for package offers during holiday season. Many offers are available online or through travel agencies (some air flights and tours).
  • Popular places to stay in KL are near shopping places such as Bukit Bintang, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and China Town (more on Kuala Lumpur).
